Recycling Made Simple

Here at Cairns Recycling, we run recycle centres throughout Far North Queensland, including Smithfield, Portsmith, Mareeba, Edmonton, Gordonvale and Mackay. If you'd like to reduce your household waste and lessen your environmental impact, recycling is a great place to start. Earn 10 cents per eligible container you donate. Our centres are authorised collection points for the Queensland Government's Containers for Change scheme. You'll be surprised how quickly it can add up!

When you've saved up enough beverage containers, bring them in to any of our recycle centres and let us know how you'd like to be paid. We offer 10 cents per container, paid through vouchers, cash or your scheme ID. A scheme ID allows us to make an EFT to your bank account or PayPal. You can also nominate an ID for a local business, community group or charity and we'll donate your refund there instead. Get started today!
